Message from the Principal

My name is Wayne Johnson and it is with great pride and excitement that I am writing this letter of introduction to you.  I am extremely honored to have been appointed as the Principal of Roberts Elementary School.  I am looking forward to working with the Roberts community of learners to continue the school’s fine tradition of educational excellence.

I am eager to meet you and your children, and I am looking forward to working with all of you alongside the talented Roberts staff.  Everyone has an important role to play at Roberts Elementary School!  Together, we will find the right spot for you to assist our students and enhance their academic achievements.  I know that we are going to have an amazing year as we get to know each other and assist our students on their educational path.

As a lifelong learner, I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education specializing in Science and English Language Arts, a Master's Degree in Curriculum Development, and an Education Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership.  I truly enjoy studying the most current research on how children learn.  I have been an Elementary Principal for the past 18 years of my 26 years in the Roseville Community Schools.  I am looking forward to serving the students of Roberts Elementary for many years to come!  I have always said, “I love my job working with the minds of the future, our children!"
